List things that help to inspire your writing

1) Songs.  I wrote an entire story based on the song. No One Mourns the Wicked.  

2) People I meet.  I have friends, as well as bad bosses, that have inspired entire stories.  I wrote a story once just so I could kill off a mean boss I had.  

3) Movies.  Especially bad ones.  I have taken some element and used it to write a story I thought was better.  

4) My husband.  Pillow talk can be very inspirational 

5) Life – Look around you, watch.  You will be surprised the ideas that can bubble up.  

6) Dogs.  I have written a number of stories inspired by friends pets.
