With Maris being the only known descendant, she becomes the pawn in a game between Deamhan who see her as a threat and others see her as a savior. Her blood is the key to this Dark Curse.

Brief History: Her mother, worked as a prostitute as a brother and became pregnant with Maris. Unsure of the identity of her father, Maris grew up not knowing much about her own mother until her death. Maris takes over her mother’s position just as she forced into the dark world of Deamhan.

Relationships:

Anastasia: Maris’ sire. Relationship is rocky and near to almost non-existent due to Anastasia’s betrayal and lack of being an important figure in Maris’ life.

Finley: Also sired by Anastasia, Finley becomes Maris’ closest friend. Their bond remains strong, even when they’ve parted ways from other Deamhan in their destructive family. Finley will do anything to protect her.

Jesse: Sensing that Maris’ needs companionship, Finley sires Jesse just for that. Not only does Jesse replace Finley, his bond to Maris turns out to be just as strong, maybe stronger, than the bond she has with Finley.

Ayden: His directive is to protect Maris at whatever costs, including protecting her from those she has always considered her close companions (Finley and Jesse.) While he’s instructed to make sure she remains alive, Ayden bonds to her and places himself as the only Deamhan in the world who would die for her.

A veteran of the Armed Forces, Isaiyan Morrison was born and raised in Minneapolis.
